You may now review the entire book "Hepburn Township Codes" at your convenience. Most questions and concerns deal with Township Zoning which you can find under "Chapter 27 - Zoning". Please note that the Zoning Officer makes the final interpretation of Township Zoning and Ordinances. In addition, and in many cases, a permit is needed. PLEASE CALL THE ZONING OFFICER BEFORE STARTING ANY PROJECTS TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN COMPLIANCE. If any Ordinances or Building projects commence without the necessary permits, the fee's double and/or legal action can ensure. Please play it safe and call.   As you will see under Zoning, there are 6 different Zoning Districts, each having their own restrictions. THe Township Zoning map will help you find the district you live in.
